Removing unwanted skin defects couldn’t be easier:
1. Turn on the device and choose your therapy level depending on whether you are treating minor pigmentation, such as sunspots, or a larger condition, such as a skin tag. The work status and level can be viewed on the LCD screen
2. Hold the pen at a 45-degree incline. Support the area you wish to treat with the other hand.
3. Gently put the pin-head in contact with the skin and continuously sweep the device back and forth. Watch the magic happen as small sparks appear when the pin-head touches the skin.
4. Avoid poking skin tags or treating one area for too long to avoid burning the skin. Skin tags or warts will scab over and fall off in the days following the treatment.

Does Dermavel’s Plasma Pen leave scars?
No, the Dermavel Plasma Pen was specifically designed to leave no scars or scratches after use. After treatment, avoid sun exposure and tanning beds to the treated area. Once the scabbing process is complete, always apply broad spectrum SPF 50 or higher to the area for a minimum of 3 months after your last treatment. This skin is still healing and can easily become damaged by any UV rays and may cause hyperpigmentation and/or premature aging.
Can I remove Moles with a Plasma Pen?
Yes, but we do not endorse it.
Moles can be cancerous and should not undergo any types of treatments or procedures before cleared by a licensed dermatologist, physician, or medical advisor first.

How does Dermavel’s Plasma Pen work?
The Plasma Pen works by applying small charges of plasma energy to the skin, which causes the skin to undergo a process of sublimation. That means that the skin in the area where you apply the Plasma Pen will be rejuvenated by turning into a gas and later returning to its younger form.
How long does each Dermavel Needle last?
Fine needles are for one-time (1) usage for smaller areas, and the coarse needles can be used over multiple sessions, up to 2 months with proper disinfection care.
Why can't I use the same needles multiple sessions?
Fibroblast Plasma Needles gets dull and will hurt more during treatment(s), needles should be replaced often to avoid scarring and to prevent infections. You can order more replacement needles here.

How long does healing take (downtime) ?
